On the Deck

Shawn Strok recently worked with a client to create a beautiful outdoor space.  Since the deck gets a lot of sun the initial plan was to create a pergola on the deck. However, structural issues prohibited this. Eight foot market umbrellas were as stylish solution to this problem.

Shawn used weather resistant Sunbrella fabric for both the seat cushions and pillows. The design is pulled together with a palm theme throughout and the use of beautiful earth tones. Careful furniture placement makes the most of the deck’s square footage and encourages conversation.

The multi-functional wrought iron table was a great find. The table is perfect for fires on cool nights, or just fill with ice and your favorite drink on warm evenings. Either way the table is perfect for entertaining.

Here are some pictures of the transformed deck.

The homeowners response to his decorated deck “I feel like I’m on vacation when ever I’m out there”.  Could there be a better compliment?
